What is a Fraction?
A fraction represents a part of a whole or a part of a collection. The whole must be divided into equal parts for the fraction to be meaningful.
- Numerator: the top number. It shows how many parts are selected.
- Denominator: the bottom number. It shows the total number of equal parts.
